Warm welcome from the city of Kurnool at Andhra Pradesh!
We, the organising committee, cordially invite you to the 30 th APNSA
conference (APNEUROCON 2023) to be held at the city of Kurnool. Kurnool was
the first capital of the newly formed combined state of Andhra Pradesh. It is
the “Gateway of Rayalaseema” and also the “Health Hub of Rayalaseema”. The
city abodes the holy river Tungabhadra and is situated on NH44 between
Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The landmark of Kurnool city, Konda Reddy Buruju
is the main attraction in many Telegu films and is in the heart of the city. It is
the land of many holy and serene Hindu devotional temples like Srisailam,
Ahobilam, Mahanandi, Alampuram and Mantralayam. It is also the rice bowl of
Andhra Pradesh, known for its delicious Sona Massori, with its exports all over
the world. The city holds its unique culture, heritage, traditional customs and
special cuisine. The Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy airport is just a 20minute
drive from the city centre. Kurnool medical college is one of the first and oldest
medical colleges with its eminent products serving all over the globe. Kurnool
is also known for its commercial crops like cotton, onions, tobacco, groundnuts
because of its rich black soil. We are proud to hold this conference for the 3 rd
time in our city. With blessings of the Almighty, we hope to provide a
memorable academic, social, devotional and cultural feast to our guests. The
climate in the month of July is expected to be hot (26 to 43 C) but not sultry for
sure, so do prefer light cotton clothes.
